A Home of One’s Own. We are so thankful for this opportunity.
We enjoy being stewards of a home in Florida. We don’t get much time here, but we love that the tenants are enjoying the home and plan to return year after year. For this trip, we did some minor repairs and then had time to enjoy our stay. We replaced batteries in the smoke alarms – Changed light bulbs – Added a new shower curtain – And Washed and Reorganized all the linens.
We added a new painting to the Master. I carried the four canvases in a shopping bag and they breezed through airport security…good thing, because they were still a little wet.
Gees…they look lopsided…hope that’s just this photo(!)
We moved some of the artwork around to freshen up the look of the home.
Adding this Tin Chandelier brings sparkle and a touch of New Mexico. Our bathroom tile work held up and is a tad classier than the refrigerator door insert.
This painting series is still my favorite and stayed in its special place in the girls’ room.
No major construction this trip….just time spent together enjoying the home.
The final addition – We introduced the Barbie and Ken Family to their newest guest…
Hello” Jackie Kennedy at Newport”. A special Housewarming Gift – Perfect for this home.
