Wait…Ballet Pointe Shoes?
Oh Mom…these are my old ones and I am going to be the Black Swan for Halloween and I want to wear these shoes and they need to be black and the spray paint will be easy to do and the older girls use Sharpie to paint their pointe shoes but the spray paint will be so easy and I’ll even do the ribbons and…
Oh Look, They’re Perfect!
Perfect for the Black Swan.
Thanks Mom.
Spray Painting 101 is a Success.
Spray Paint Magic.
Many thanks. I am wondering if you are coming up on my Reader at all? I cannot see a Like icon. Would be nice to press some for you.
Hi – I’m not sure I have a Like icon…but thank you for trying.
I’m surprised the paint sticks to the toe shoes. Awesome! I wonder if that’s how they paint shoes for bridesmaids’ to match dresses… (I thought that movie was kind of creepy! Ever seen The Unfinished Dance with Margaret O’Brien, Cyd Charisse, and Danny Thomas? It’s an oldie. My first intro to ballet.)
Hi Calensariel – I didn’t think paint on point shoe (satin!) would work either but guess it does. Oh my those hideous colored bridesmaid shoes that kill your feet…I don’t know about spray paint for those but I don’t think anything could ruin them. Thanks for the movie tip…We eat, drink and sleep ballet around here 🙂 that’s one I didn’t know but will try to find. If I see one more Nutcracker version…:)
what a great little painter she is….and it was genius on the toe shoes…perfect
Thank you BJ – I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
Good post and well executed
Thanks and thanks for the painting hand. 🙂
