Yes. High School. My Baby will be Off to High School this Year.
We obediently did the Open House and She is Almost, but Not Quite Ready. But she will be. Amy Biehl High School – a fabulous Charter School that sits in the middle of Downtown Albuquerque. A Hot Spot for the Kids is the quirky, been here forever, Lindy’s. After the Open House, We Stopped for a Quick Bite and let her survey the scene. With New Eyes.
Lindy’s Opens Early. Closes Late. Serving Solid Diner Food.
And Always New Mexico Style with a Side of Green Chile.
I’m trying to be good. Cobb Salad for Me.
Everyone Else went Whole Hog. Eating and Chatting at Warp Speed.
Burger and Fries with a Side of Green Chile.
Eggs and Hash Browns with a Side of Green Chile.
Steak Sandwich with Fries. And yes, a Side of Green Chile.
Waters all around.
An appetizer (?) of Texas Toast and Ranch for dipping.

I know she needs to get her feet wet in the Rough and Tumble of Downtown. And She Will. This is just the Beginning.
An Almost Grown up Urban Girl. Ready to Take On a Bigger Universe.
She Will Be Ready. As for Me…uhh…

And Please Heap on the Patience and Magic.
