Miss Doodle volunteered to bring in Fresh Dates for a Comparative Religion Class. Mr. Doodle and I obliged with a Date for Dates at Whole Foods.
This was a Truly Enlightening Trip. And Fun!
We Found the Dates Front and Center with the Fruits and Vegetables. Easy.
We then took a quick spin around the Market for a Photo-Journey.
The Fruits and Vegetables Looked Delicious.
Full of Good Health.
Almost Fresher than Fresh.
Of course everyone knows this – Fresh and Healthy = Organic Food.
But what I didn’t realize is there is a New Star in the World of Organics..
The Graphic Labeling…Wow!
Let’s Check out the Market with an Artistic Eye…
Visions of 1920s Seaside Fun and the Loch Ness Monster. On Beer.
Jerky like no Jerky I’ve ever seen…Buffalo. Deer. Chicken.
Lunch Meat with More Hard Core Information than I really need to know.
Cape Cod Trail Mix with Cape Cod Cranberries. Sweet.
Pet Food with Cute Pets in full view. And Filled with Real Chicken.
Buddha-inspired Popcorn. Enlightening.
Googly-Eyed Kiwi. In Birkenstocks.
More 1920s inspiration. Is this Mr. Jack Fruit?
Love this one…Mother In Law’s Kimchi. Hilarious. Can’t you just see the discussions about finding a name for the kimchi??
There were samples too. This was some kind of Pink Lemonade. It tasted a tad “medicinal”, but it wore a smashing shade of Pink.
Los Poblanos Farm is just up the road from us. Their lavender fields are truly impressive. Basic Hand Soap in Lavender.
And if you’re not in the mood for cooking…there’s a Variety-Filled Salad Bar.
Still in keeping with the Organic Theme.
So there you have it. A Simple Date for Dates.
As always, Magic is Everywhere.
