Finally. After 2 Months. We Have Our House Back. The Nasty Mold is Gone. Major Tear Down Construction is Over. Everything is Clean and Sparkly. And We had a Great Opportunity to Change It Up. Just a Little.
All this for a Bathroom! Crazy.
After Numerous Trips to the Tile Super- Store, Floor & Decor, we agreed on a Design Board. Tile choices are epic and exhausting. But also exciting and fun. We went with Shades of Grey and White. Ceramic Tile from Floor to Ceiling and Wall to Wall. Fan shaped Tiles to be set as Water Droplets.
Contemporary. Clean. Rustic. Simple. Mermaid without being Too Disney.
And Now Open the Turquoise Door for The Reveal.
With the Details:
New to the space – 30″ Vanity from Costco. Antique Lights Stay.
Quartz Top with Moen Faucet (Costco). Turquoise Mirror stays.
Original New Mexico Latillas stay.
Ceiling Painted in Sherwin Williams HGTV Mint-To-Be. Inspired by the HGTV Dream Home 2020.
My silly Faucets as Towel Hooks stay. Mermaid tiles extend from the Shower Enclosure across the Bathroom wall. Floor to Ceiling. Wall to Wall.
Striped Towels (TJ Maxx) in Grey/White stand up to all the Curves. Tiles set as water droplets with curves down to give a Mermaid Illusion.
Penny Tiles for the Shower Pan wrap the Shower Step. Penny Tiles feel great on bare feet and are very slip-proof.
3 Nichos in Penny Tiles. No more hanging rack over the Shower head.
Rainfall Shower – Sleek, Sassy and Powerful.
For Contrast: Grey Tile with White Grout. White Tile with Grey Grout.
My Favorite Part – The Before and After…

As Always, My Inspirations. 🙂
