Friday Fictioneers has a Fun Prompt this Week…All about Eggs.
And Here’s My Story.
PHOTO PROMPT © Todd Foltz
A Brooklyn girl moved Out West to practice Indian Law.
The Tribe promised her an insulated house. And a goat.
Black Angus cows are the neighbors. Pink dawns in lapis skies – the new forever.
Cobblestone streets, brownstones and CUNY Law were yesterday.
Dusty pickups, hogans and practicing law in jeans are today.
Her third client paid with six chickens. Plump Rhode Island Reds, so she wouldn’t be homesick.
Feed and water. Clean up poop. Watch for coyotes. Write a brief. Enjoyable work in a novel, quirky way.
And then this miraculous morning. Eggs!
Chirping clucks almost have a Brooklyn vibe. If you squint your eyes just so and face that sunrise in the East.
100 Words go by in a flash…
For the telling of a Cinderella Fairytale Adventure that Came True.
Today served with a Sampling of Moonstruck Brooklyn Eggs!
A family favorite in the Wilds of the American Southwest.
Enjoy the Magic!
