BUT. Hmm…White Grout for the Floor??!!

My thought for the WHITE GROUT was to allow the FLOOR PATTERN to take center stage. However after just 1 week, even with daily Clorox Wipes cleaning, the white grout became DINGY.

UGH. I was sure we were stuck with my less than brilliant design choice of white grout for a high traffic floor.

But then one of my Classic Aha Moments…

LET’S CHANGE THE WHITE GROUT TO GREY!

Here’s the Simple DIY Fix. Cheap and No Tile Removal Needed!

Step One: With a Utility Knife carefully Scratch the Grout Lines. This gives the grout “teeth” to hold the new grout. But do be careful. It is sometimes easy to chip the tile…go slow.

Step Two: Mix the new (pewter) Grout and Wipe on the Floor.

Step Three: Let the floor set for 1 day.
